Priscilla's Vision and Background

moonbabycakes is the vision of founder and chief executive baker Priscilla Chung. Priscilla has always had a passion for baking ever since she was a little girl. She fondly remembers standing on a chair next to the kitchen counter to watch her mom mix the chocolate cupcake batter. These were always happy moments for Priscilla, and her favorite part of sharing her cupcakes are the smiles that they bring!

Before creating moonbabycakes, Priscilla spent 6 years working in commercial real estate in San Francisco. During those years, she was always working on perfecting her recipes and testing her creations on her roommates, friends and co-workers. These critiques of her work were integral in creating a repertoire of recipes for Priscilla's blissful bites of cake and heavenly swirls of frosting that make moonbabycakes.

Always being a daddy's girl, moonbabycakes is named after her favorite nickname that her dad has called her since she was born (the full nickname is Moonbaby Princess). If you ask her dad to tell you the story behind the name, he will say that he found Priscilla as a baby on the moon under a tree. That's why the cupcakes from moonbabycakes are out of this world!
